Connect Programme
1 Sept – 4 October 2020
The Connect Programme is a one month programme, to train and equip God’s people through a journey of healing and transformation. The programme creates opportunities to explore and discover biblical truths through connecting to God and disconnecting from that which is not of God. Our aim is to bring Word and Spirit together in the application of teaching and ministry. This happens in times of worship, biblical teaching, discussion, personal reflection, fellowship, creativity and practical ministry opportunities Connect is primarily designed for those who want to be further equipped to minister to people in need of the healing touch of Jesus. The programme is for pastors, missionaries and leaders, and for ordinary people who want to grow as disciples and be effective in the Kingdom of God. The programme presented at Shere house has a residential and non-residential option. The beautiful gardens provide a peaceful setting to connect with God and others. Invest one month of your life to Connect, disconnect and reconnect to all that He has for you.
Format and Content
PART 1 - CONNECT TO GOD
Understanding who God is and how to connect to Him as our source
We explore:
- God’s foundations for Life, His rescue plan,
- His heart to restore our destiny and lives
- The character and nature of God
- How to connect to God and hear His voice
- Power of repentance, forgiveness and the consequences of bitter root judgments
- God’s remedy for rejection
PART 2 - DISCONNECT FROM THAT WHICH IS NOT OF GOD
Understanding blockages to healing and the difference between sin, the carnal nature, wounding and demonic influences.
We explore:
- Principles of deliverance and how to overcome the enemy’s tactics
- The snares of the enemy e.g. false covenants, witchcraft, defiled land and alternative healing methods
- Inner damage and healing
- God’s shelter as the antidote to fear and anxiety
- God’s design for relationships
- How to deal with difficult emotions e.g. false guilt, shame, anger
- God’s design for sexuality and its expression
- Healing for past accidents and traumas
- How to recognize and avoid deception
PART 3 - RECONNECT WITH GOD YOURSELF AND OTHERS
We explore:
- Beliefs and behaviors
- Healing through creative expression
- Our God Given Identity
- Intercession
- Practical guidelines when ministering to others
- Ministry application by receiving, observing and interceding
- Kingdom living in your community
