Terms and Conditions
Ellel Ministries International exists to teach the principles and practice of Christianity so that Christians may be drawn into a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. For an understanding of the Christian beliefs and ethos of Ellel Ministries International see “What we believe” . We are open to all who are seeking Jesus Christ and who wish to benefit from this ministry and who seek to use our services for this purpose. We reserve the right to not allow our services to be used in a way that is contrary to our Christian beliefs and ethos (and therefore potentially harmful to those our ministry seeks to help).
House Rules:
To avoid conflict with our ministry purposes and our Christian beliefs and for the safeguarding, comfort and spiritual welfare of our other guests and the team, the following are not permitted at Ellel Ministries centres:

- Alcohol, recreational drugs or any form of substance abuse. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only permitted outside, in designated places.
- Verbal abuse or aggressive behaviour.
- Any sexual intimacy outside traditional biblical marriage.
- People sharing a bedroom who are involved (or intend to be involved) together in an intimate sexual relationship outside traditional biblical marriage.
- Inappropriate or excessive public displays of sexual intimacy or affection.
- Pornographic material, including online access.
- Religious practices (including occult) that are not consistent with our Christian beliefs and ethos.
If you are unsure whether something may fall outside activity permitted at our centres, please seek guidance beforehand from the relevant centre. Accommodation:
Limited accommodation is available on a shared basis, at R250 per person per night. It includes a light breakfast of cereals, and tea/coffee, as well as a towel and linen. Dinners are not provided but a fridge and microwave are available, and there are various restaurants and stores in the vicinity. Accommodation at Shere House is subject to availability and the right of admission is reserved. Should you need accommodation for the weekend contact the office directly to determine availability and book via e-mail before each course. Payment for accommodation would need to be made via EFT and the proof sent to bookings@ellel.org.za prior to the event
Use of Electronic Equipment:
Please note that guests using any of their own portable electronic devices, including items such as laptop computers, chargers and hair dryers, do so entirely at their own risk. Ellel Ministries will not in any way be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to, or injury or damage resulting from, the use of such items. Please note that the electricity supply runs at 220 volts.
5. Terms of Booking and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 3 working days prior to the course will result in a full refund/credit for another course (e.g. on a Wednesday for that Saturday)
Cancellation within 2 working days up to Friday 1 pm will result in a R100 deduction
Cancellations after the 1 pm the day before the course i.e. Friday 1 pm or on the day, or a ‘’no show’’ upon registration will result in no refund or credit, and the funds forfeited.
6. Dietary Requirements:
Unfortunately, we do not cater for any special dietary requirements, a set lunch will be provided during some of the courses.
7. Disclaimer Policy:
Ellel Ministries Shere House has beautiful facilities and while we endeavor to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we cannot take any responsibility for any losses or injuries incurred while at Shere House. We also regret that no young children or pets are allowed on the property. We pray that you will have a wonderful stay and enjoy the peace & tranquillity with which the Lord has so greatly blessed us! Right of Admission is reserved.
