1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA is a non- profit company. We are an international non-denominational Christian mission organization with the aim and purpose to resource and equip the church by welcoming people, teaching them about the Kingdom of God and healing those in need.
2. Statement on Restricted Services
Ellel Ministries International exists to teach the principles and practice of Christianity so that Christians may be drawn into a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. For an understanding of the Christian beliefs and ethos of Ellel Ministries International see “What we believe”. We are open to all who are seeking Jesus Christ and who wish to benefit from this ministry and who seek to use our services for this purpose. We reserve the right to not allow our services to be used in a way that is contrary to our Christian beliefs and ethos (and therefore potentially harmful to those our ministry seeks to help).
To avoid conflict with our ministry purposes and our Christian beliefs and for the safeguarding, comfort and spiritual welfare of our other guests and the team, the following are not permitted at Ellel Ministries centres:
- Alcohol, recreational drugs or any form of substance abuse. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only permitted outside, in designated places.
- Verbal abuse or aggressive behaviour.
- Any sexual intimacy outside traditional biblical marriage.
- People sharing a bedroom who are involved (or intend to be involved) together in an intimate sexual relationship outside traditional biblical marriage.
- Inappropriate or excessive public displays of sexual intimacy or affection.
- Pornographic material, including online access.
- Religious practices (including occult) that are not consistent with our Christian beliefs and ethos.
If you are unsure whether something may fall outside activity permitted at our centres, please seek guidance beforehand from the relevant centre. Limited accommodation is available on a shared basis, at R250 per person per night. It includes a light breakfast of cereals, and tea/coffee, as well as a towel and linen. Dinners are not provided but a fridge and microwave are available, and there are various restaurants and stores in the vicinity. Accommodation at Shere House is subject to availability and the right of admission is reserved. Should you need accommodation for the weekend contact the office directly to determine availability and book via e-mail before each course. Payment for accommodation would need to be made via EFT and the proof sent to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the event
Use of Electronic Equipment:
Please note that guests using any of their own portable electronic devices, including items such as laptop computers, chargers and hair dryers, do so entirely at their own risk. Ellel Ministries will not in any way be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to, or injury or damage resulting from, the use of such items. Please note that the electricity supply runs at 220 volts.
3. Delivery policy
Subject to availability of courses and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 days and booking confirmed prior to the course
4. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of courses, goods and services by ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA is subject to availability. ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA will refund the client in full within 30 days after the agreement of refund was confirmed.
5. Terms of Booking and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation before the Thursday prior to the course will result in a full refund / credit for another Explore (A or B) course during your Explore cycle, no refund will be given thereafter. No refund will be given for non-attendance on at the event
In the event of a major technological problem that prevents or interrupts our transmission of the event, such as a power outage at the Ellel broadcast site, we will make the teaching available or issue an event credit. The credit may be applied to any Ellel event and is valid for one year from the credit’s date of issue.
6. Dietary Requirements:
Unfortunately, we do not cater for any special dietary requirements, a set lunch will be provided during some of the courses.
7. Disclaimer Policy:
Ellel Ministries Shere House has beautiful facilities and while we endeavor to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we cannot take any responsibility for any losses or injuries incurred while at Shere House. We also regret that no young children or pets are allowed on the property. We pray that you will have a wonderful stay and enjoy the peace & tranquillity with which the Lord has so greatly blessed us! Right of Admission is reserved.
ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.
We comply with the principles of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) when dealing with all information received from visitors to the site and to our centre, as they make use of our services or purchase our goods. We only process the information necessary to offer the services offered on our website, insofar as it needed to achieve our aims and principles for legitimate business purposes, as per a contractual agreement, or statutory requirements.
9. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA bank account, the details of which will be provided on request
10. Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
11. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
12. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including course bookings and services available on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
14. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Ellel Ministries South Africa, Plot 32 / 1, James Ave, Shere Agricultural Holdings, Pretoria East, 0081
ELLEL MINISTRIES SOUTH AFRICA may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

This website is run by Ellel Ministries, Non-Profit Company, based in South Africa trading as Ellel Ministries South Africa with registration number 2002/031437/08 with the following Directors Derek Puffett, Beryl Puffett, Herman Redelinghuys, Ronel Geldenhuys and Peter Geertsma as Directors.
