Everybody knows what challenges and struggles in life feels and looks like. In a world with so many fears, shakings and worrying trends, hope can easily dissipate. We can easily lose meaning and purpose in life as we struggle with happenings in life.

We are often confronted with many Questions in our hearts and minds – Why do bad things happen? Why me? Where is God in all this mess? Does God even care? Is this the best I can expect? We can feel disillusioned and underwhelmed by our faith, wondering if God will ever break through our deepest needs or have a glim of light in stressful situation.

Hope is about having undying, unending and strong expectation! Hope is what gives us power to wait for tomorrow and to go out with expectation!

We can hope based on different things that have happened or happening to us or around us. However, we know that hope that stands strong in the face of storms of life or even threats of death is one based on God and His word.

The Hope Conference comes to help anchor our hope in Eternal and loving God as we address foundations for such hope, Distortions that bring despair and darkness and how we can have our hope can be restored and strengthened.

This day is about hope – hope that there is more to life than the status quo, hope that God can and will break through the issues of our lives, and hope that we can experience the abundant life promised to us.
