Ellel Ministries Rwanda was formally established on 2nd of August 2013, after 6 years of annual conferences throughout Rwanda run by teams from Ellel Ministries South Africa and UK. Ellel was initially invited by the then Archbishop of the Anglican church of Rwanda, Most Rev. Emmanuel M. Kolini. During one of the interactions he said, “We are a traumatized church, trying to heal a traumatized nation. Would you come and help us?”

Consequently, in May 2009, a 5-day conference for church leaders took place, and Peter Horrobin, the founder of Ellel International, was the main speaker.

After various Ellel trainings in Rwanda, the UK and South Africa, Lambert and Catherine Bariho helped establish Ellel Ministries Rwanda. It is registered with Rwanda Governance Board as an Interdenominational Ministry with legal personality no. 085/2014.

Though it is affiliated with Ellel Ministries International, Ellel Ministries Rwanda is autonomous financially and in governance.

Inspired by the Great Commission of Jesus to make disciples of all nations, we work in fellowship with the global church to fulfil our vision and mission:

Our Vision:

To see people restored to intimacy with God – healed, transformed, equipped, and thriving; prepared for Jesus’ return.

Our Mission:

Providing opportunities to experience life-changing encounters with God through welcoming people, teaching them about the Kingdom of God, and healing those in need (Luke 9:11).

This happens through our healing retreats, healing services, courses, schools, and conferences. The ministry of Ellel Rwanda has brought healing and restoration to hundreds of people through the cross of Jesus. Those who are helped are then equipped to help others.

Ellel Ministries yatumiwe mu Rwanda n’uwari Umwepisikopi Mukuru w’Itorero rya Angilikani mu Rwanda, Emmanuel M. Kolini. Muri bimwe mu biganiro yagize ati: “Turi itorero ryahungabanye, rigerageza gukiza igihugu gihungabanye. Ese mwaza mukadufasha?” Byatumye muri Gicurasi 2025 haba Conference y’iminsi 5 aho umwigisha mukuru yari Peter Horrobin, wari umuyobozi wa Ellel Ministries ku isi kandi akaba ari nawe wayitangije.

Nyuma yo kwiga inyigisho za Ellel mu Rwanda, mu Bwongereza no muri Afurika y’Epfo, Lambert na Catherine Bariho bafashije gutangiza Ellel Ministries Rwanda. Ellel Ministries Rwanda ifite ubuzima gatozi no. 085/2014, aho yemewe muri Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) nka minisiteriya itegamiye ku idini.

Nubwo ikorana na Ellel Ministries International, Ellel Ministries Rwanda irigenga mu miyoborere no mu mutungo.

Dushingiye ku Nshingano Nkuru ya Yesu yo guhindura abantu bo mu mahanga yose abigishwa, dufatanya n'Itorero ryo ku isi yose mu gusohoza intumbero na Misiyo byacu: 

Intumbero Yacu:

Kubona Abantu bongera kugaruka mu mubano wimbitse n’Imana – bakize ibikomere, bahindutse, batojwe, kandi bateye imbere; biteguye kugaruka kwa Yesu..

Misiyo:

Gutanga amahirwe yo kuba mu bihe byo guhura n’Imana mu buryo buhindura ubuzima, binyuze mu kwakira bantu, kubigisha iby’Ubwami bw’Imana no Kuzana gukira ku bakeneye gukira ibikomere (Luka 9:11).

Ibi binyura mu mwiherero wo gukira, umwanya wo kwakira abantu mu bujayanama, amateraniro yo gukira, inyigisho na conferences. Umurimo wa Ellel Rwanda wafashije abantu benshi gukira no gusanwa binyuze mu musaraba wa Yesu. Abamaze gukira batozwa uko bafasha abandi.
