Based at Glyndley Manor near Eastbourne, UK, David is an Executive Leader and the regional director for Ellel Ministries in Western Europe, and Denise is an Executive Leader of the ministry. They have three children and eight grandchildren, all giving much joy in the midst of very busy lives.

How they got involved with Ellel Ministries

David and Denise lived in Hong Kong for three years at the start of their Christian walk and then returned to their home in the highlands of Scotland, where they eventually became elders in the Church of Scotland. In 1993 a team from Ellel Grange visited their church for a teaching weekend. Denise and David were thrilled to find believers with answers for the many questions they had about why people in the church were struggling and not living abundant life. This led them to join Ellel Ministries in September 1993 and they became directors of Glyndley Manor in 1997.

David

David originally qualified as a civil engineer and had a varied working career, which included building bridges in Hong Kong and leading ski tours in the Scottish Highlands. Despite finding fulfilment in his work, he became increasingly disillusioned with the ethos of "self-sufficiency" on which he had based his life. A huge change in direction came when he was converted in Hong Kong in the early 1980s and began to follow Jesus with all his heart.

David and Denise returned to the UK in 1984. David later became an elder in the Church of Scotland and in 1993, he and Denise joined Ellel Ministries.

David's clear and authoritative teaching from God's Word has brought understanding and healing to many who have been confused and damaged by the ungodly ideologies of today's world. He has written four books: Soul-Ties, God's Covering, Trapped by Control and Dangers of Alternative Ways of Healing (with John Berry). Besides the joy of sharing God's truth through teaching and writing, David loves walking and photography.

Denise

Despite an abiding love of drama and creative expression Denise trained as a maths teacher. Her favourite classes were the less able children and she used all her creative talents to teach and inspire them. Seeing them blossom in skill and personal confidence gave her immense pleasure.

After a “Damascus Road” experience of the Lord Jesus in 1981, Denise has followed Jesus wholeheartedly. 

Denise is a gifted and lively teacher who loves to stir the hearts of believers to receive all the benefits of abundant life freely offered by our Heavenly Father. She is the author of the book Rescue from Rejection.
