The Format of EXPLORE

What does an EXPLORE course look like?

EXPLORE is held at our centre in Baak in the Netherlands and at many other centres in the world. It is held over a series of weekends. Full details can be found by clicking on the Full Calendar of Events and go to EXPLORE. 

Standard Weekend Format (Friday - Saturday)

at Ellel Netherlands

FRIDAY:

Each EXPLORE weekend will start with a meal together on Friday evening followed by an evening session of worship and teaching. 

SATURDAY:

Then on Saturday there will be a mix of worship and challenging and inspiring teaching sessions alongside times for personal reflection and group discussion time. There will also be an 'encounter' session where there will be an opportunity to respond personally to the teaching and to receive prayer ministry from our Ministry Team.

For those who need to be home on Sunday, the teaching finishes around 9PM Saturday night.

SUNDAY:

Sunday morning you can have an easy start and a leisurely breakfast. After a short devotional led by one of the team over breakfast, there will be time for personal reflection or fellowship with others on EXPLORE with all guests leaving by 11.30am. Lunch will not be provided.

Over the many years of ministry we have seen how valuable opportunities of rest, fellowship with other students and personal time with the Lord away from the stresses and strains of life can be. It gives opportunity to process the weekend’s teaching and ministry before heading home.

The wonderful thing about EXPLORE is that God doesn’t just work during the events themselves but continues His work during the time in-between. The EXPLORE notes booklets will also include a journal with activities, questions, worksheets and scriptures all designed to help you continue to grow and receive from the Lord in your own time.

Each of the events in the series will include time for worship, fellowship, biblical teaching, personal reflection, group discussion and an encounter time where prayer ministry will be available.
