The whole course is exceptional very relevant to me. I have gone away with a lot to think about. I have learnt that I don't have just to cope and be so independent. God is good & loves me, even me!.... Read More...

Seeds of the Kingdom

Recorded in Your book

You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book!
Psalm 139:16, LB

A book is made up of many pages, paragraphs and chapters. A biography or story usually has a beginning, middle and end. God knows the end from the beginning of our story. He has written the last chapter in our lives already, according to Psalm 139.

He knows the hard chapters, the joyful ones and the really painful chapters. If we really trust Him in these times, He has made provision for us. He works all things together for good, when we love Him. I have often found a good chapter following a bad one.

Sometimes we make mistakes in our lives, which may carry consequences. We may have repented and been forgiven, but sometimes, not always, the consequences may still occur. We may still have to reap what we have sown and sometimes what others have sown in our lives. What are we to do about it? The one thing we can be sure of is that we are not alone. Jesus is with us and has given us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, and we can work through all these consequences with Him, The same mercy, love and compassion that brought us forgiveness will hold us as we face what He permits in our lives.

We know that His cleansing is complete and when the last page of our lives is written, the book and our salvation are complete. Jesus pronounced at the cross, “It is finished”. The price had been paid. The book won’t be closed until the last page God has written has been fulfilled in His perfect time. There will be no end, because this will be the beginning of eternity with Him.

‘My sin, Oh the bliss of this glorious thought,
My sin, not the part, but the whole –
Is nailed to His cross and I bear it no more.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Oh my soul’.
H.G. Spafford.

Prayer: Lord, help me to live this day according to Your will. I pray that You would be pleased with today’s page of my life, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
