Healing Retreats

 The Bible brings us the life-giving message of hope that God is able and willing to meet all our needs, no matter how desperate they may seem. In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus quotes part of the Old Testament saying of Himself:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors, and that the time of the Lord's favour has come.
Luke 4:18-19

 Knowing that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, a healing retreat would be useful for you if you are experiencing insurmountable problems or are in need of physical, emotional or spiritual healing. A retreat provides the ideal opportunity to receive teaching covering biblical principles which are keys to receive healing for the body, soul and spirit, such as: 

  • Forgiveness
  • Acceptance
  • Understanding and knowing the Father heart of God and His desire to heal, restore and fill us with His Holy Spirit
  •  How God enables us to walk on in victory 

In addition to the teaching, an extended time of individual prayer with Ellel ministry team members is offered to each participant. All those who minister with Ellel Ministries are committed mature Christians who have been carefully trained and evaluated by Ellel Ministries. Everything that is shared with the ministry team remains confidential.  

Ellel Ministries do not make any charge for Healing Retreats so that no-one is hindered from receiving help. There is an opportunity during the Retreat, or at any time, to make a free-will donation for those who want to support the ongoing work of Ellel Ministries.

The results of a healing retreat tend to vary from one person to another. Some people say that they immediately experienced an important change in their life whilst for others, the retreat is merely part of the ongoing process of healing in their lives.
