I went to Ellel with many wounds of trauma and rejection. The week was so ordained of the Lord, covered in prayer and all laid on and structured to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Considering people there are getting healing and dealing with pain this was so helpful. For me God met me in two areas related to childhood separation from my mother and grandmother, all of it before the age of two. I had anxiety set into me and very poor love ability in connection. The Holy Spirit ministered in a deep way during the mentoring sections. It was painful but healing! I can say the overall week was used by God on so many levels. I suffered years of anxiety and depresion, years of loss. This week was a very great milestone in my recovery and moving on with the Lord. Psalm 139 he knows us from the womb. And if we have a relationship with him in Jesus He can be our saviour and healer!
