A New Season with New Leadership

April 3rd, 2014

Dear Friends of Ellel USA,

It's always nice to write a letter with some good news… and this is one of those letters! With Ellel USA nearing it's 9th birthday we are thrilled to be able to share with you that the work is about to enter an exciting new season under new leadership.

We have appointed Matt Moore to be the Director of Ellel USA from July onwards. Matt and his wife Becky have been involved with Ellel USA for many years and have been close friends and supporters of the work. They have been through much of our training and have also served on our Ministry Team. Matt is currently the Pastor of Missions at Fishhawk Fellowship Church here in Lithia, Florida where he has served on the pastoral staff for the last 8 years. Here is a short note from Matt and Becky:

“Becky and I are pleased and excited to be joining the Ellel team in this role and we are truly humbled by the opportunity to serve the Lord in this ministry that has had such an  impact on our own lives. Andy and Cath have been incredible servant leaders during this important chapter in the Ellel USA story and we trust the Lord will help us to continue that great legacy. We look forward to your partnership with us as we seek to move the vital ministry of Ellel forward here in the the US.”

You can find out more about Matt and Becky here.

For those who have followed our news you will know that last summer it looked like Ellel’s time here in the States was coming to an end, and that English Acres (the property from which Ellel has operated here in Florida) was going to be sold. We continued since then with a limited number of events and a voluntary but devoted team. Much of the time was spent in prayer and seeking the Lord for the future of the work here, with a growing belief that God wasn’t yet finished with His work through Ellel in this nation.

We were thrilled to hear a few months ago that the Ellel supporter who holds the title to the English Acres property has given us an assurance that we can remain on the land at no cost for the foreseeable future and we are very grateful to him for his generosity and patience to work with us. As we move forward into this new season of Ellel in the US, we all continue to trust God for a way to bring the full vision for Ellel USA (with a residential training and ministry center) into reality. We believe God has a plan! In the meantime it is wonderful to know that the ministry of Ellel – sharing God’s heart for restoration to those in need - will continue in this nation.

Our family will be returning to the UK in July where we will continue to work for Ellel at Ellel Grange. It has been a huge joy and treasure for us to live in the USA and meet so many wonderful people over the 8 years we have been here. We have loved living in Florida and we will leave in July with full hearts. We are so thankful to know we are leaving Ellel USA in such safe hands with Matt and Becky.

We hope you are as excited by this news as we are and that you will keep Matt and Becky in your prayers as they prepare for their new roles within Ellel Ministries. We will be planning a new event schedule for the Fall which we will will let you know about just as soon as it is available. We will keep you up to speed with all the new developments.

We will also be in touch in the next week or so with information on how you can partner with us to support this new season of the work.

This email comes with love and gratitude from us both to all Ellel USA’s wonderful supporters.

With love in Jesus,

Andy & Cath Taylor
