These fun looking shoeboxes could tempt the child in any of us to take a peek inside… wrapped in colourful paper, one style for girls the other for boys (with lions and all sorts of fun looking animals on) each box is filled with toys, treats and teddy bears! Because of circumstances 300 Palestinian Christian children were left without a shoebox to open at Christmas last year. However, after a plea for help from the Emmaus Group these 5 boxes will be sent from Glyndley Manor, to join with many other shoeboxes, to arrive in Bethlehem in time for the Passover Festival (14-22 April 2014). Each shoebox will provide a child with the joy of opening their special gifts and hopefully experience God’s love for them too.
