Picking up the Pieces
Exploring Healing for Past Accidents and Traumas
Doctors recognise that those who experience a sudden accident or trauma are not just damaged in their physical bodies but frequently experience a deeper heartfelt problem that can affect them long after the event.
This can be post stress mental issues, or it can even be an injury and symptom that persists despite the doctors best efforts. When there is nothing else the medical profession can do, many are left wondering if there is an answer to their ongoing struggles with the consequences of what they experienced. The answer is yes, there are ways to pray into these moments of trauma, to go back to the source of the pain and bring release.
These moments may be physical accidents or receiving news of the unexpected loss of a loved one, financial tragedy, horrific abuse, or some devastating shock that rips into your core and shatters trust. The response and outworking of this shock inside our soul and spirit can cause untold inner person damage.
This course will explore what it really means to be broken in soul and spirit by accidents and traumas, and how the promise of Jesus to ‘bind up broken hearts’ can bring wonderful restoration and healing to the whole of our being. As a ministry, we have seen many people healed physically as well as finding freedom from the inner consequences of things like fear and anxiety which have resulted from accidents and traumas.
For those who would like to stay overnight on Saturday there will be an additional cost of £35 per person which includes accommodation and a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning. There will be time for personal reflection at the centre in the morning with all guests leaving by 11.30am. We are sorry but lunch will not be available. Please choose the Friday-Sunday option when booking to include the Sunday.
Registration starts from 4pm on the first evening. There will be a welcome on the stairs from the course hosts just before the evening meal which is at 6pm. The evening session will start at 7.30pm. If for any reason you are running late or not likely to arrive in time for the evening meal, please do let us know and we can arrange to keep the meal for you. The course finishes at 9pm on the Saturday (unless you choose to stay overnight - see note above).
Please remember to bring with you:
- A Bible
- Note book - notes will be provided but you may like to make additional ones
- Walking shoes - as we have beautiful grounds to explore
- Warm clothes - as we are a large stately home
Bed linen and towels are provided, but don't forget your toothbrush and all your toiletries. Wi-fi is also available in the house.
