Matt and Becky have been married for 26 years and have two daughters, Regan and Riley. They make their home in Lithia, Florida.
Matt and Becky came to be involved with Ellel ministries after hearing about the ministry from a friend. Following a meeting with Andy Taylor, the regional director of Ellel in North America, Matt read Peter Horribin's book "Healing Through Deliverance" and sought ministry at Ellel USA. Matt found amazing deliverance and healing during that first visit and subsequently through attending the Modular Schools offered at Ellel USA. Becky experienced similar transformation, renewal, and spiritual growth through her attendance at many seminars and events offered at Ellel USA, including her participation in the Modular schools.
Matt was raised as one of 5 children in a missionary family serving in Indonesia where he spent the majority of his childhood. He went to Bible college in 1985 seeking to follow God's call to the ministry. After completing his BA in Theology and Missiology, he pursued and completed his Masters degree in Biblical Counseling in 1992. Despite a desire to follow the Lord, he was unable to pursue his ministry calling because of spiritual bondage. So he began a career in law. After completing his law degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Clerkship at the Missouri Supreme Court, he joined a Kansas City based international law firm in 1997 where he became a partner in 2003.
In 2005, after a life-changing encounter with the Lord, he fully surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus and began following Him with all His heart. In 2006, he resigned his law partnership and became the pastor of worship and missions at Fishhawk Fellowship Church. He left that position in 2014 to become the Director of Ellel USA.
Matt loves his wife, kids, miniature dachshund, Max, playing piano, teaching, writing, and movies. In 2009 God placed a special call on Matt's life to help the people and nation of Israel and to dedicate himself to the realization of the "One New Man in Messiah" described in Ephesians 2:15.
Becky spent almost all of her childhood on the island of Kyushu in Japan as the daughter of missionaries. After being saved at age 13, God placed a ministry call on Becky's life which she was pursuing when she met Matt at the Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where she completed her Bachelors degree. They were married in 1988. Becky has served in many roles in the church, both as a volunteer and as paid staff over her lifetime. Since experiencing the Lords healing through the ministry of Ellel, Becky loves to minister to others and see them set free from burdens and bondage that prevents them from entering into their true destiny in the Lord. But she finds her greatest fulfillment in caring for her two daughters.
