Jim and Irene Murdock

Directors of Ellel Ireland

Jim and Irene are the Directors of Ellel Ireland. They have been married for 45years and have a family of four - two boys and two girls as well as thirteen grandchildren. Jim is a carpenter by trade. Shortly after returning to Ireland from Scotland in 1980 they came to know the Lord and got involved with others in establishing a Fellowship Church in their local town. For 25 years they were involved in various aspects of leading the work there.

In 1989 Irene attended a ladies conference and, after responding to prayer, was advised to go to Ellel Grange for some deeper ministry. After receiving  much help through Ellel Grange, Jim and Irene decided to go to Glyndley Manor to train in the 9-week school (Flagship). Afterwards they joined the associate prayer ministry team at Ellel Grange. At the same time they were watching prayerfully for God to open the door for Ellel Ministries to come to Ireland.

In 2008 Clive Carr invited Ellel Ministries to Ireland and Jim and Irene joined him on a part time basis. They helped run the Modular School and Irene was asked to take on the role of ministry manager for Ireland. Two years later Jim and Irene were asked to take on a full time leadership role in pioneering the work in Ireland. From the base in Lisburn they now travel from north to south and from east to west running Modular Schools in many locations. They also hold Healing Retreats at the base at Lisburn. Irene says, "we really enjoy what we do and are so encouraged by the testimonies of lives being transformed through the teaching and the ministry."

Days off are usually spent with family. Holidays and hobbies take something of a back seat because of the demands of the work but Jim loves to spend time enjoying his classic motor bike and Irene just loves to take time to smell the roses!
