NETS - Teaching Content

The NETS programme is made up of four stages, each of which are 10 weeks in duration.

Please Note: You do not have to complete all 4 stages. You may apply for just one stage if that is all your circumstances allow. However, we recommend that you attend at least stages one and two because these form a solid foundation of practical ministry training. If you only apply for one or two stages, we encourage you to come with faith that God will make a way for you to do more! Stages 3 and 4 have a missions, discipleship and leadership focus. To get the most out of the course we recommend completing both of these stages consecutively. However, whilst trainees are encouraged to complete all 4 stages in one year, it is possible to do the four stages at different times – please contact us for more details.

Stage 1

This provides a comprehensive foundation of training in discipleship, healing and deliverance. You will learn and practically experience the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and discover keys for healing that God has shown to Ellel Ministries through more than 25 years of experience. In this first stage, you will receive personal prayer ministry and thus be able to practically apply the keys yourself as you witness and experience God’s transforming power in your own life. Topics covered include:

  • Foundations of Faith
  • Healing Through Forgiveness
  • Soul Ties and Ungodly Links
  • Generational Iniquity
  • Belief Systems and Mindsets
  • Restoring the Human Spirit
  • Right Relationships
  • The Truth about Godly Sex and Sexuality
  • Foundations of Acceptance and Belonging
  • Introduction to Inner Healing and Emotional Wholeness
  • Introduction to Ministry for Abused People
  • Understanding Deliverance and the Spiritual Realms
  • Freedom from Cults and False Religion
  • Moving under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit
  • Introduction to Care, Counselling, and Ministry
  • Discernment and Deception
  • Ministering to Children
NETS was, and remains the most significant, precious and wonderful period of our entire lives and we are still experiencing the huge benefits and blessings we received from being at Pierrepont for those months.

Stage 2

Stage 2 builds on everything learned in the first stage, but with more opportunities to participate in prayer ministry to others with help from experienced prayer ministers. Some of the subjects from Stage 1 are visited again with more depth and new topics are introduced to increase and widen your understanding so that you can be more effective when you minister to people with all kinds of issues. Trainees will go on a Church Visit in the UK and will be given the opportunity to participate in leading worship and ministering on this weekend event. At the end of Stage 2, trainees hold a concert to celebrate all they have learned and experienced as well as giving testimonies at a celebration service. The testimonies given at the services are absolutely amazing as we see how powerfully God has been working in the trainees’ lives – often it is clear to see the difference just by looking at their faces! Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the Bible
  • Power in the Name and Blood of Jesus
  • Father Heart of God
  • The Truth about Lies
  • Healing the Human Spirit
  • Bitter Root Judgements
  • Godly Boundaries
  • Helping the Terminally Ill
  • The Process of Deliverance
  • Keys to Specific Deliverance Issues
  • New Age and the Occult
  • Freedom from Freemasonry
  • Humanism and Post-Modernism
  • Intercession and Spiritual Warfare
  • Challenge to Fulfil your Destiny

Stage 3

Stages 3 and 4 see a change in focus, as trainees build further on the solid foundation of healing and restoration experienced during Stages 1 & 2. While continuing to receive new teaching and topics throughout the 10 weeks, there is now strong a focus on practically experiencing what it means to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ. One of the highlights of Stage 3 is the week long European based mission trip where you will put into practice the things learned during earlier stages, in both ministry and discipleship. Teacher training and mission training are foundational to much of this stage, as trainees are instructed further in the areas of ministry they feel called to, e.g. leadership, prayer ministry, worship, etc.  Stage 3 builds on the basic content presented in Stages 1 and 2 but to a deeper level and includes the following topics:

  • Godly Sex and Sexuality (including cloning, pornography and IVF)
  • False Religions
  • Ministry Leadership
  • Prayer, Intercession, and Spiritual Warfare
  • Cross Cultural Ministry
  • Mission Trip
  • Guidelines for Teachers
  • Teaching on a Healing Retreat
  • Christian Leadership

Stage 4

The final stage completes the NETS programme and provides much more opportunity for first-hand ministry and mission experience. Trainees will minister at conferences, church visits, personal ministry appointments, and participate in a two to three-week international mission experience. During this stage, there is a specific focus on identity and character development. Through a  mentoring process, trainees are helped to discover and walk in the calling God has for them individually. First-hand experience in running teaching and ministry events will be part of the course, as well as exposure to all that is involved in running a healing centre. Trainees who complete Stage 4 will receive a certificate of completion. Stage 4 builds on the basic content presented in Stages 1, 2 and 3 at a deeper level and also includes the following:

  • Dealing with Theological Differences in the Church
  • Understanding Relationships (boundaries, divorce & remarriage issues)
  • Ministry to the Abuser (ethical issues)
  • Deliverance Ministry (religious spirits)
  • Principles of Care and Prayer Ministry
  • Teaching
  • Leading Prayer and Intercession
  • How We Disciple Others
  • Leadership (opportunities to lead in worship, drama, teaching and ministry)
  • Mission Trip
