NETS: Life Transforming Ministry Training

NETS - Teaching Content

The NETS programme is made up of four stages, each of which are 10 weeks in duration.

Please Note: You do not have to complete all 4 stages. You may apply for just one stage if that is all your circumstances allow. However, we recommend that you attend at least stages one and two because these form a solid foundation of practical ministry training. If you only apply for one or two stages, we encourage you to come with faith that God will make a way for you to do more!

Stage 1

This provides a comprehensive foundation of training in discipleship, healing and deliverance. You will learn and practically experience what it means to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ and learn keys for healing that God has shown to Ellel Ministries through more than 25 years of experience. In this first stage you will receive personal prayer ministry and thus be able to practically apply the keys yourself as you witness and experience God's transforming power in your own life. Topics covered include:

  • Foundations of Faith
  • Healing Through Forgiveness
  • Soul Ties and Ungodly Links
  • Generational Iniquity
  • Belief Systems and Mindsets
  • Restoring the Human Spirit
  • Right Relationships
  • The Truth about Godly Sex and Sexuality
  • Foundations of Acceptance and Belonging
  • Introduction to Inner Healing and Emotional Wholeness
  • Introduction to Ministry for Abused People
  • Understanding Deliverance and the Spiritual Realms
  • Freedom from Cults and False Religion
  • Moving under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit
  • Introduction to Care, Counselling, and Ministry
  • Discernment and Deception
  • Ministering to Children
NETS was, and remains the most significant, precious and wonderful period of our entire lives and we are still experiencing the huge benefits and blessings we received from being at Pierrepont for those months.

Stage 2

Stage 2 builds on everything learned in the first stage, but with more opportunities to participate in prayer ministry to others with help from experienced prayer ministers. Some of the subjects from Stage 1 are visited again with more depth and new topics are introduced to increase and widen your understanding so that you can be more effective when you minister to people with all kinds of issues. Trainees will go on a Church Visit in the UK and will be given the opportunity to participate in leading worship and ministering on this weekend event. At the end of Stage 2, trainees hold a concert to celebrate all they have learned and experienced as well as giving testimonies at a celebration service. The testimonies given at the services are absolutely amazing as we see how powerfully God has been working in the trainees' lives - often it is clear to see the difference just by looking at their faces! Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the Bible
  • Power in the Name and Blood of Jesus
  • Father Heart of God
  • The Truth about Lies
  • Healing the Human Spirit
  • Bitter Root Judgments
  • Godly Boundaries
  • Helping the Terminally Ill
  • The Process of Deliverance
  • Keys to Specific Deliverance Issues
  • New Age and Occult
  • Freedom from Freemasonry
  • Humanism and Post-Modernism
  • Intercession and Spiritual Warfare
  • Challenge to Fulfil your Destiny

Stage 3

In this stage of NETS you will be introduced to many new topics, but most significantly you will be offered first-hand mission and teacher training experiences. Stage 3 always includes a two to three week overseas mission programme where you will put into practice everything learned in the earlier stages, in both ministry and teaching. This is the stage in which trainees really develop their giftings and are trained in the area of ministry they feel particularly called to, e.g. leadership, prayer ministry, worship, etc. Stage 3 builds on the basic content presented in Stages 1 and 2 but to a deeper level and includes the following topics:

  • Godly Sex and Sexuality (including cloning, pornography and IVF)
  • False Religions
  • Ministry Leadership
  • Prayer, Intercession, and Spiritual Warfare
  • Cross Cultural Ministry
  • Mission Trip (includes a two-week mission trip, usually to a developing country)
  • Guidelines for Teachers
  • Teaching on a Healing Retreat
  • Christian Leadership

Stage 4

The final stage completes the programme and provides much more opportunity for first-hand ministry experience. You will minister at conferences, church visits, personal ministry appointments, and in other situations as they become available. This is the stage where you will be specifically mentored and helped to discover and walk in the calling God has for you individually. You will also gain first hand experience in running events and will be exposed to all that is involved in running a healing centre. Trainees who complete Stage 4 will receive a certificate of completion. Stage 4 builds on the basic content presented in Stages 1, 2 and 3 at a deeper level and also includes the following:

  • Dealing with Theological Differences in the Church
  • Understanding Relationships (boundaries, divorce & remarriage issues)
  • Ministry to the Abuser (ethical issues)
  • Deliverance Ministry (religious spirits)
  • Principles of Care and Prayer Ministry
  • Teaching
  • Leading Prayer and Intercession
  • How We Disciple Others
  • Leadership (opportunities to lead in worship, drama, teaching and ministry)

Whilst trainees are encouraged to complete all 4 stages in one year, it is possible to do the four stages at different times - please contact us for more details.
