From Aberdeen take the A96 (signposted Inverness) and turn off at Huntly onto the A920 (signposted to Dufftown). Drive about 6 miles from the A96, then turn left down the lane signposted “Blairmore House” which leads to the front drive of Blairmore on the left. Driving time from Aberdeen is about 60 minutes.
If you are coming from the A95 at Aberlour, take the A941 to Dufftown and then the A920 for about 5 miles. Take the right turn (signposted “Blairmore House”) which leads to the front drive.
By Coach and Bus:
Stagecoach run the regular 10, 10A bus service between Inverness and Aberdeen, which stops in Huntly. Citylink provides services several times daily from Edinburgh and Dundee to Aberdeen. For National coach travel information visit www.nationalexpress.com.
From Edinburgh and Glasgow, there are hourly trains to Aberdeen. A regular rail service runs between Aberdeen and Inverness, stopping at Huntly. National Rail Enquiries is a useful website for finding train times and routes.
Aberdeen airport is the nearest international airport with flights available to many domestic and international destinations. Visit www.aberdeenairport.com for detailed information on this airport. From the airport, the best method of onward travel is by train (station Dyce). To access Dyce train station from Aberdeen airport, Mon-Fri, 7am-7pm, take the Service 80 bus from just outside the front entrance of the airport. At other times, a taxi can be taken from the airport terminal to Dyce train station (approx. 8 min). At Dyce station, take the train to Huntly. Dyce is a small unmanned station - you can buy a ticket from the machine.
A pickup by car from Huntly to Blairmore House is usually arranged in groups, as guests arrive. Please make arrangements in advance with Blairmore House.
